Where can I find really thick yarn?

I found a pattern for a no-knit scarf that uses really thick (it’s easily as thick as my pinky finger if not thicker) and soft (maybe alpaca? some fleece mix?) yarn but I can’t find it anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks!
