Which publisher owns Van Nostrand Reinhold?

Question by degb00: Which publisher owns Van Nostrand Reinhold?
I would like to contact the publisher who owns the rights to a now out-of-print book published by Van Nostrand Reinhold Company in 1982. My web research seems to show that this publisher may have been bought, gone bankrupt, or otherwise ceased business in the mid 1990′s. I found one reference that John Wiley might own the rights, but I contacted them and they said no.

Blue Sky Aran designed by Diane Wellman of Knitting Theory. This is a hooded baby cardigan with cuffed sleeves and an over sized hood to fin snugly over and hat. This sweater has saddle sleeves and employs the XOXO cable, a favorite of mine for kids knits. The sweater is knit in blue sky organic cotton.
