The booties I made for a friend’s baby a year ago didn’t quite make it to her. I’m going to be finally meeting her later this week for lunch so I’ve made these adorable monsters for her and her baby instead.

Question by raynne_iceni: Circular knitting patterns to flat knitting?
I cannot figure circular needles out. I’ve tried several times. I’ve seen several ways of converting flat knitting to circular knitting, but nothing for circular to flat. Is there a way to do this? There are so many patterns I’d love to do, but they require circular needles.
Well, the stitches do twist like anything. But mostly, it’s the way I knit. I’m used to bracing the right needle against my ribcage and moving only the left one. I can’t figure out how to do that with circular needles.

I live in Hialeah and i would like to know if anyone knows of a place that sells circular knitting needles.

Just about any craft store that sells straight knitting needles would also sell circulars. I’ve seen them at Hobby Lobby and Joanne’s. Check your yellow pages under “yarn” and you may find a local yarn shop that would carry a large selection. If you wind up needing to order online, the least expensive place to get good quality needles is knitpicks.com

Question by Allison H: Could I cut down circular knitting needle cord?
I picked up a pair of Boye circular knitting needles to make a hat, but unfortunately, the craft store’s smallest size was 29″. Would I be able to cut down the cord to make it about 16″, and maybe hot glue it back together?
