Question by Mieke: How do I get rid of the overly long tail inbetween my knitting needles when I cast on?
Pretty self-explainitory. When I cast on and start knitting that row, I get this long tail between the needles that gets bigger and bigger, and it gets so long on hats and stuff that it gets all knotted up.

Question by : Can bamboo knitting needles be made using a machine?
Do bamboo knitting needle manufacturers like those in China have workers who hand carve their needles or do they have a machine that will automatically carve the bamboo to make the various needle sizes and types? If they use a machine, what’s it called and where can I buy it? Thanks.

Question by Elegant Elephant: How to make your own circular knitting needles?
I´d like to make some with some old knitting needles I have, so I don´t actually have to MAKE the needles, just the cord. The thing is, I can´t use weed eater. Could I use any other materials? A rope I could tie, or something else? Give me ideas here!
Thanks in advance,
Mary.

Question by Cajun_ Creater: What kind of tree branches can be used to make knitting needles?
I was thinking of taking a walk through the neighborhood to try and find some different types of wood to make knitting needles ( not necessarily to use ) but just to have a unique collection of my own, sort if something no one else would have. I guess you could say more for decoration purposes.

Question by Mia: Does anyone know how to knit a round on straight knitting needles?
I’m making a hat for myself, and I don’t have circular knitting needles. I’ve already knitted a few rows, and now it’s asking me to starting rounding. I don’t know how to round, and was wondering if it’s possible to knit a hat on regular knitting needles. Thanks.
