Okay, so I have a little talent. You may think it’s only VERY little. I can knit. I can whip up adorable mittens in a couple of hours, knit socks, make cute beaded and wire-work jewelry, etc.

I’m going to knit a pair of socks with cables for the first time. I normally cast on 48 sts for a pair of basic socks. Do I need to increase (or decrease) the number of cast on stitches for the cable stocks.
