Question by Parrche: Knitting with yarn that contains soy?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of knitting with yarn that contains soy? More specifically, yarn that is part wool and part soy.
For example, I know that alpaca is known for its uncanny ability to keep you warm, cotton is light and absorbent, acrylic is cheap but easy to wash.. etc, etc.

I am a beginnner knitter and bought a Patons book on how to make mittens. I’m starting to knit the thumb right now and the instructions say “turn.” I can’t find instructions on this anywhere! Please help!!

I just knit myself a sweater and tried it on (I’m 90% done with it) and it seems a bit big (I think this may be because I lost 5-10 pounds between starting the sweater…when I picked a size to knit…and now).
