I’m knitting scarves for Christmas presents, and the one I’m currently making uses the stockinette stitch. It is curling something fierce, which I understand is a problem with this stitch. Is there any way to prevent this WHILE you’re knitting, as opposed to afterwards (I can fit it after but it’s a pain when your knitting gets tangled in on itself).
Any handy tips are much appreciated

Please do not give me a website. I have looked through a lot of websites and I am tired of it. You can give me a specific pattern or just a simple idea. I am looking for something cute that can be made with 9-inch (I think.) needles and without circular ones.

I knitted a ton of cotton dishcloths for myself & my friends this summer. Here’s the pattern.
(Make sure you get the 100% cotton yarn)
