Question by suzanne u: Is there a spray adhesive to lock yarns on the back side of a latch hook rug?
The rug will hang on a wall. The major background color is white, so it will need to be cleaned about once a year. How should I clean it?

Any spray adhesive should work, look in the local craft store. For a more finished appearance, rugs and wall hangings should be bound. You can use either a sew on binding or an iron on.
To finish without binding, cut canvas at least 3 holes beyond the outside edge of the design, fold to back of rug , match mesh and baste in place.

Question by Tracey T: Can you combine wool and acrylic yarns in latch hook?
I have a friend who has one color in wool, the rest in acrylic, both are excellent quality. She wants to use both types in one rug. No problem hooking it, but will it look ok? Will it wear differently? Does she have to dry clean it? This is a fairly large piece for in front of the fireplace.

Question by craftycetta: Why does my circular knitting machine keeps snagging my yarns even with weights on it?
I purchased an innovations knitting machine from Ebay tried it out and every time I start knitting the yarn keeps getting snagged. I added weights to no avail. I kept taking it off and starting over no help. Does anyone else have this problem that they solved? I have a smaller model that knits beautifully so I don’t know what is wrong with this one Does anyone else know what is going on here?????

Question by Charley: Does anyone know of a website that offers great quality, yet VERY affordable yarns?
I’m a semi-new knitter and also do some crochet when the knitting gets frustrating. I’ve been using cheap acrylic yarns (mainly to practice with), but I would like to find some nice quality yarn that will be worth my money and my while. Thanks for any input!
