Question by clarice d: How do I start a dc to edge of a knitted pattern?
I am knitting a poncho ,it says dc (crochet )to edge of poncho how do i start it..never dc before but looked it up but don’t know how to start the stitch

I think you just start with a slip knot like you start with when knitting your cast on row.

Go to the library and get a beginners book on crochet. All you need to do is pull up a loop, in the knitting, and yarn over. You’ll need the proper size hook. Get that while you’re out.
