Knitted Bike in SoHo NYC

Last night I spotted one of the elusive "knitted bicycles" in SoHo, just above Canal St. The entire bike was covered over in brightly colored yarn, and while I’m no knitting expert, it appeared to be very well crafted. It was a nice surprise to see a bright pink bike, popping up on a deserted NYC street in the dead of a freezing winter night.
From what I’ve read, this is a widespread art project that aims to cover various objects on the street with yarn work, to brighten people’s day (or night). I like it a lot. Fun.
