A few nice easy knitting images I found:

Easy Baby Cardigan

This free pattern from Knitting Pure & Simple was completed in less than a week. It’s knit from the top down and the hood is seamed or grafted together during finishing. I used a soft, machine-washable yarn I had in my stash: TLC CaraMia. I think the yarn has been discontinued, which is too bad. It’s mostly acryclic and nylong, but it also has a nice amount of angora and rayon. The rayon gives it a nice drape and the angora makes it feel very cozy and soft. I picked up this yarn about 2 years ago on clearance at JoAnne Fabrics and it will last me for several more years of baby knitting.

Question by Elf: Plain knitting pattern for baby cardigan?
My friend’s just had a beautiful baby girl and I wanted to knit her a cardigan. My mum’s offered to teach but she says the pattern needs to be plain. Anyone got a link to a very simple pattern?
