I normally have used the Boyd aluminum types and a couple of plastics for both my knitting needles & crochet hooks, but decided to ‘splurge’ on a bamboo crochet hook. It’s certainly different. What kind do you like best ? Is bamboo better for more hooks/needles? I also see something called rosewood – is that worth it ? Any other kind out there ? Thanks

I can’t seem to find any really ornate, fancy, frilly lacey knitting patterns. I’m after sizes to fit premature and newborn babies, and also reborn dolls. The fancier and more difficult the better and I want to make the whole outfit, dress, jacket, booties, bonnet. Leggings would be great too, and any other accessories. Does anyone know where I can buy some patterns online?

I don’t know about an online website, but I have seen books in the crafts store about knitting and crocheting. If you’re unable to get any answers for online assistance, why not just pick up a book on the subject.

I have found several knitting patterns for this hat but no crocheting patterns.

convert the knit stitches to single crochet stitches. It does work!! You will have to make a sample swatch to get your guage correct.
