I recently purchased two knifty knitter loom series the round and the long however I would really like to make more then just hats and scarves which are fun but I have already made several and would like to expand.

This is my first time knitting something other than a simple scarf and I am stuck in the part where they gave me directions saying, “at neck edge, begin this row…”. How do I know where the neck edge is or do I just assume that after the directions I’ve been following, the next row is where the next edge is supposed to be?
