Question by Autumn: What are some good scarf patterns for thin yarn?
It’s this really thin forest green yarn that my mom bought from a farm where they wove their own yarn. I’m not very good at knitting yet. I’ve only ever knitted simple scarves, but I’m willing to try whatever works.

Question by Parrche: Knitting with yarn that contains soy?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of knitting with yarn that contains soy? More specifically, yarn that is part wool and part soy.

Question by SLopez: what is the name of the tool used to loop yarn over when crocheting an afghan.?
It looks like a big knitting needle with a flat bottom to keep your yarn from coming off the end .
The needle does not have a hook on the end as you need to slide loops off the the needle .

A yarn over is a way to increase by one stitch. It creates a hole in the knitting which is often used as a design element. Take a look at the web site I’ve got listed as a source. Scroll all the way to the bottom and there’s a link that shows how to do a YO.
